Really dislike the combat and RPG mechanics that this new God of War has taken a direction in, the game devolves into a numbers game where you only deal damage if you've got high enough equipment on, rather than being free form and approachable no matter the skill level like other action games.

Story and world gives a slight buff, there are parts of the story that make me groan, but over all it's a great story with great characters.
