I was recommended this game from my sister who absolutely adores this game. I was told that the writing and characters are all great and she was absolutely right.

Everything about this game is so goofy but it's so charming at the same time. The voice acting is awkward, the chibi sprites are dated (still looks good imo), the cutscenes are funny looking, and even the battle mechanics are so clunky but it's so fun. The writing of the overall plot and the character's development and growth is so good and completely overshadows everything else.
