It is an absolutely gorgeous game with pretty nice feeling guns. But it absolutely loses itself in its own story. Early impressions will leave you thinking you found "That game", the one with a story to remember, but the closer you get to the end, that feeling fades. Then the ending bashes that feeling in entirely.
If the gameplay held up, that'd be fine, but honestly the powers kinda suck and level design gets pretty boring at a certain point. It starts as a strong game and ends real badly, so a mid score seems the most appropriate.
