Hands down the best horror game I've played.
It is a game that lives up to all of the expectations you can set and then some, the story is consistently original and hard to predict, it makes you second guess what feels like an easy prediction by knowing what thread of logic you're likely to follow, yes it still has cliché twists but it feels proud that it does, it's a story that you feel active love for the genre pouring out of it.
The gameplay is equally engaging and interesting, very Resident Evil adjacent which I wasn't expecting after playing the first game and Control before it, but it's immersive and never too bothersome to work with.
It took me a really long time to finish but that is mainly out of playing it for a group that couldn't get together often, that being said the cinematography and story beats of this game command a visual experience that makes it just feel like you're hosting movie nights, it's genuinely a very unique experience.
