Dark Souls might not have been the first Souls styled game, it also wasn't the one to perfect the formula and there's some objectively bad and unfinished level design here, but it's still one of the most influential games of the 2010s. A true pop-culture icon. Few games have left the kind of mark on the gaming industry as this one has and for good reason too. I can't even begin to tell you the countless hundreds of hours I've spent on all my playthroughs of this game throughout the years.
