Eight. years. It has been eight, long years, since we got this absolute gem of a game, and eight years later, it is just as amazing as it has always been.
It's quite hard to put into words just how much I absolutely adore Undertale in every way imaginable. Everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING is absolutely perfect. The wonderful music, the memorable characters, the phenomenal atmosphere, the engaging gameplay that (while I personally think was significantly improved in it's spiritual succesor) is still just as fun as ever, the ways the game keep track of your every action and how it affects even the tiniest things, and of course, it's absolute masterpiece of a story that is both heart warming and breaking, filled with so much to talk about and so many interesting questions about our own morality.
While I could've admittedly just logged it on it's own page, I feel it's important to mention that I did this replay with the Bits and Pieces mod, which (aside from the glitches it has towards the latter half) is the definitive way to experience this game, fixing tons of it's small issues, and adding a shit ton of new content that made it feel like it was my first time playing this all over again.
I am well aware that all of this is something you have probably heard a hundred time already, haven't you? But it needs to keep being emphasized because this game is just that good and, even if it's fandom's reputation from a few years back might draw you away from it,
Despite everything, it's still my favorite game ever made.
