“OH MY GOD!” - me over and over the first 25 minutes of playing this game. Wow Sqare Enix took a (imo) 5 star game and made it even better. I still can’t even believe that this game even exists. I love how much more in-depth they went with the characters. Hell, they took Jesse, Biggs, and Wedge, throw away characters with a few lines in the original, and gave them more development than some of the main cast got in the original. I have never been more excited and antsy for a game than I am for the next chapter in this game. I can’t wait to see where they take us after Midgar and showing this will not just be a straight retelling of the original. I do like that they stuck to the original script on a lot while also proving they don’t care to change what they want to. I know many just want a remaster of the original but I like when remakes take chances and change things up. If you want to stick to the original story 100% just still play the masterpiece that is the original. I love Tifa and Aerith. Aerith better not die this time around and Tifa better not get the axe as a replacement for her. Let it be Cait Sith.
