technically the best one so far but I'm gonna say it now that I've entered the SNES era and they still have that type of NES/arcade level design near the end. these aren't for me, I like so much about this series the music the art direction some of the level design has potential and the concepts itself are great but mega man 1-7 has failed to give me a type of level design that made anything I did feel worth it in the end that's it for the numbered entries for me, if someone who actually likes this type of level design reads this just know I understand it's just not a thing for me and I see why people miss this type of level design in modern games.
