The fourth wall breaks felt overdone but otherwise this game is filled with an intriguing narrative, fast gameplay, and well designed settings. It's def among the best modern Ninja Gaiden esc games. This also made me appreciate SoS more.

I played the prequel game first so some of the moments like the guardian gods talking hit surprisingly hard. Playing this made me appreciate the other game more too.
