The game tells the story of a serial killer, the Origami Killer,
who kidnaps kids and drowns them in rainwater. The game is seen from the perspective of 4 different characters:
- Ethan Mars, the father of young Shaun Mars who was kidnapped by the Origami Killer
- Madisson Paige, a simple journalist
- Norman Jayden, FBI agent investigating on the Origami Killer
- Scott Shelby, private investigator
