It’s Smash so you know it’s gonna be fun. With over 80 characters and stages there are so many ways to play. A great game to play at parties or a couple of friends. The music is great with old and new songs returning. The dlc characters add some fun variety as well with characters in and outside of the Nintendo family. Smash Ultimate is a celebration of all that is video games with references to many games. My only gripe would be that the online is not great unless you have amazing internet. How is Nintendo so behind on this while Sony and Xbox are crushing it in this category. Single player leaves much to be desired as their are no more trophies and very few options. We have classic mode which is fun but gets old quick. We have a story mode involving a spirit mechanic in which you imbue your smash characters with different powers from spirits you collect. This also gets quite tiring after some time. All in all Smash Ultimate is a fun time just make sure you have friends to fully enjoy it.
