I enjoyed the music. I think it’s a good follow up to the first game. The first game had more levels and a donkey Kong country like over world map. But it’s was hard and some of the platforming didn’t not work so well. I felt this game did a good job tempering the challenge. Crash has some new moves to help along the way. The overworld is not these compact rooms with five levels each that you can beat in any order. The boss fights are a bit easy but I like their designs. Collecting the gems can be frustrating but when isn’t that in a crash game? It’s a good game and a good sequel the next game though is definitely the best on the PSone.
