This game has some cool concepts and ideas and just misses on what it sets out to do. The game is a sequel to the Zero series. Instead of playing as an android you play as a human Boy or girl. X,Zero, and the guardians from the Zero series have had their data turned into talking chunks of metal called morph metals. With them you can become any one of the heroes listed above with their said abilities. Using their abilities you can travel a vast landscape in a metroidvania style with a map that feels very complicated and hard to follow. There is no exp but you can find power ups and collectibles hidden throughout the map. It’s a much lighter story than the Zero series and can be a lot of fun at times. The boss design is interesting with these bosses having a much sleeker more futuristic look but looking oddly bland as well. All in all it’s not bad and is worth checking out. The music is also very good.
