Okay so. This was actually amazing fun. Somewhere between Adventure and Berzerk, Halo 2600 has you moving across a maze of screens to find keys, weapon upgrades, and gates to battle the prophet that awaits at the game's end.

It's simple, it's addicting, and the difficulty is lovingly balanced to perfection. A laser-targeted experiment in de-making, Halo 2600 is well worth your time, again and again.
