Planet Zoo is not made by Blue Fang or distrabuted by Microsoft, however Frontier (devs of this game) worked on the 2013 Xbox game and it's deluxe version. By all means Planet Zoo is a follow up or spiritual sucsessor to Zoo Tycoon.
