It's hard to think of this as a rebalance hack when it feels like a completely different game. The story and characters remain lackluster, and a lot of the maps are still longass hallways, but the altered mechanics and extensively retuned units make what was formerly a grueling turtle-heavy slog into a more aggressive and engaging campaign that's still a slog sometimes but a bit less often. Some may feel that the characters are overtuned, which is pretty easy to understand when so many of them come with brand new Prf weapons. But the original game's cast is so bog standard and malnourished that I'll take more of them being slightly overpowered in ways that make them much more unique and fun to use over Rutger and Melady hard carrying a group of 15 bums. Not a replacement for OG Binding Blade in the slightest, but I can't see myself ever going back to it after playing this.
