A pleasant surprise in some parts, and an unwelcome one in others. This one adds some cool ideas on top of the base of Mario 1, like the wind current and super springs. It also felt harder than base Mario 1, which made it more satisfying when I was again trying to fly through a level. The gimmick of having to take the right path that was in Mario 1 came back, and it felt more worn out in this entry. Still a fun installment.
