Fantastic "4th" Crash Bandicoot game~

Absolutely fits at home with the Trilogy, and I could absolutely see this being the true 4th game in the series, outstanding level design and aesthetic variety, gorgeous graphics, and wonderful music~

Plenty of cutscenes and character variety to keep it flowing nicely, but then like with most things, there's a catch..

Going for the 106% is by far the most unfun, poorly designed, overkill I've ever seen in a platformer.

I adore this series so much, I have fully beat the original Trilogy on PS1, and the remakes countless times, beat every other game in the franchise countless times as well, but Crash 4? I don't know who was in charge of stuff like box and hidden gem placement, or who decided the N. Verted mode was a good idea to just add on filler content for the 106%.. but man, half of the time these things do not feel naturally tough to reward practice and mastery like the other games, this game feels absolutely designed in the "how ANNOYING can we make it?" way.. It's quite literally the only thing keeping it from being a 5 star game in my eyes

A Crash game does not need literal camera movement LOL, these aren't open world levels, if you're putting boxes in places that would require camera controls, then maybe rethink where you're putting the boxes devs :/

Also even with the camera control, a lot of boxes tend to just be in places you would probably need a guide to find.. what kind of Crash game ever needed a guide to just FIND some of the boxes lol

TLDR: This game is outstanding, but going for 106% is straight up not fun, the only game in the series I'll only fully complete one time and never go for 106% again lol
