I didn't even come here as a My Hero fan, in fact I actually don't like the series at all lol.

But I do love me a Battle Royale, so what did I get here?

By far the most unbalanced, greedy, content lacking game I have ever played.. that last part is understandable though since it just dropped and they can probably add more modes eventually.

But lemme go into detail on some of the things I dislike.. The games are WAY too fast paced in my opinion, you can basically start and within the first few moments of the game have a maxed out ability. Take Deku for example, you can get your left click to level 9 super easily. That makes it do around 100 damage or so.

the LEFT click.. a spammable RANGED attack.. in a game with 300 health lol

That doesn't even scratch the surface of some of the super unbalanced characters and abilities in this roster, another flaw from the lack of balance is the fact that it doesn't really leave room for anything cool like a last chance 1v3 clutch. Most of the fights just dumb down to who has the most players alive, and who has the more overpowered stuff.

The gacha side of things isn't actually as bad as it first looked. I was mistaken at first thinking that's how you get most characters, while you only get 3 from there. Which makes sense why there's mainly voice lines and costumes in it.

Sadly, at the pace it's going this game will probably not last too long. I have also found constant hackers and reporting them does absolutely nothing.

It'll probably get better with updates, I'll definitely follow it and see how the future of it goes though :)

All that said.. It's REALLY addicting lol.

Well..

I'm one of the few who actually WASN'T against the Definitive Editions, yes the models could have been better, yes the music that got cut sucks, and yes the originals are still fantastic overall~

But what these brought in were nice quality of life additions, GPS for all the games, modern drive-by controls, checkpoints for all the games, weapon wheels and radio wheels, really pretty lighting, smoother gameplay, hell I even LOVED playing through these all again for the first time since I was a kid.

But for San Andreas? God I'm glad I left this crap for last lol, after starting with my favorite game of the Trilogy; Vice City, and LOVING the Def. Edition! Then having this be the first time I 100% GTA 3, enjoying that to an extent too, I was really excited to play the commonly agreed upon best of the PS2 games for the first time since I was younger..

But I don't know what made this one so below the other two, but it was constant "Fatal Errors", crusty audio, broken achievements (which REALLY affected me since I just got off a 100% of Vice City AND 3.

I quite literally had to download someones save file that was a little bit ahead of me because I just couldn't get passed the mission Snail Trail without crashing midway through the train section then only a few hours later, reached ANOTHER unavoidable crashing with a different mission and had to do the same thing again, I don't understand why that was happening lmao

I feel kinda upset with myself for this 100% not being authentic like all my other games I do it for, I mean hell, I'm even close to doing it for GTA V, but for THIS game to be the one that was a hurdle? And for reasons outta my control? Screw that, haha..

But yeah, the other two games in the Trilogy are great in the Definitive Editions! And I'm an actual rare defender of them, but San Andreas "Definitive Edition" was absolutely flooded with issues, I feel like most people went straight to this one and got their whole opinion of the Trilogy off it, which is a shame because I do believe this is the better way of experiencing 3, and a great way to experience Vice City (if you really care about the music, just mod them back in!)

Rockstar should definitely take their time remaking each game one by one, not trying to do it like this lol..

Vice City DE: 9/10
GTA 3 DE: 10/10
San Andreas: 4/10

Fantastic "4th" Crash Bandicoot game~

Absolutely fits at home with the Trilogy, and I could absolutely see this being the true 4th game in the series, outstanding level design and aesthetic variety, gorgeous graphics, and wonderful music~

Plenty of cutscenes and character variety to keep it flowing nicely, but then like with most things, there's a catch..

Going for the 106% is by far the most unfun, poorly designed, overkill I've ever seen in a platformer.

I adore this series so much, I have fully beat the original Trilogy on PS1, and the remakes countless times, beat every other game in the franchise countless times as well, but Crash 4? I don't know who was in charge of stuff like box and hidden gem placement, or who decided the N. Verted mode was a good idea to just add on filler content for the 106%.. but man, half of the time these things do not feel naturally tough to reward practice and mastery like the other games, this game feels absolutely designed in the "how ANNOYING can we make it?" way.. It's quite literally the only thing keeping it from being a 5 star game in my eyes

A Crash game does not need literal camera movement LOL, these aren't open world levels, if you're putting boxes in places that would require camera controls, then maybe rethink where you're putting the boxes devs :/

Also even with the camera control, a lot of boxes tend to just be in places you would probably need a guide to find.. what kind of Crash game ever needed a guide to just FIND some of the boxes lol

TLDR: This game is outstanding, but going for 106% is straight up not fun, the only game in the series I'll only fully complete one time and never go for 106% again lol
