Dumb fun. Suprisingly deep mechanics, cute, awful monetization and boring grinds. But still hits the spot

Truly one of the greatest retro revival games of all time. Super authentically honors the aesthetics that born it, and some of the tightest designed challenge in all of gaming.

A game I truly do not personally enjoy playing moment-to-moment, but one that I can't deny has absolutely amazing writing, solid game design, and spectacular levels.

The more games I play, the less games I think there's truly a concept of a "perfect" game. Outer wilds stunned me into doubting that concept.

I then played the DLC after finishing the base game, worried it would ruin that initial emotion. And then the game did it again.
