Easily my most mixed Yakuza experience so far. On one hand, the combat is an extreme slog at the beginning, I completely despised the first boss. On top of that, the children at the orphanage are just overbearing, and considering that I wasn't too big of a fan of Haruka in 1 and 2, a bunch more of her wasn't going to improve much.

On the other hand though, the story can get so incredibly interesting. I adore all of the over-the-top action and spy-like thriller insanity. And once you get further into the game, combat becomes less of a slog, in fact, it becomes pretty fun.

Overall, a pretty mixed entry in a series I love. I'd still highly recommend it.
