One of the quickest Soulsborne games for me, albeit a lot of them I still haven't finished (but have more hours on).

Only boss that caused me trouble was Lothric/Lorian weirdly enough. Also unintentionally got all the criteria to usurp the flame first time through which was pretty cool.

I think it was fairly fun, I probably just took off half a star or so for how annoying the Lothric fight was today. I'm still malding after its over, mostly because of that minute and a half long walk you have to do before each attempt.

Past that -- as everyone seems to know by now -- From has basically perfected their formula and can tweak themes at this point to get a great game. DS3/Sekiro/Bloodborne/Elden Ring just do that so well. I'm waiting to see a AAA soulsborne outside of From eventually. I think competition would be good for the genre in general.

Another game in the long time coming category - I played a few years ago on Xbox, lost the saves due to not having the Xbox and had to restart this year through Steam Family Sharing from a friend. It's weird that I own DS1, 2, Sekiro, Bloodborne and Elden Ring but not DS3. I'm just quirky like that I guess
