Resident Evil 3 is a downgrade relative to RE2make. On its own, it's okay. It's a very linear game, though that isn't necessarily a negative. It's a very linear game through uninteresting areas that aren't at all scary, though, and that is a negative. It's incredibly similar to RE2 in most other aspects, so it's certainly not a bad game. It's just not a great one. Recommend to Resident Evil fans who want a new RE2 map.

I played this game more than RE2 Remake I always say this story as a desperate escape and it wouldn't be scary but a thriller that is more action focused were 2s story leant itself to a slow atmosphere that is scary. I also didn't mind them taking out the puzzles the clock tower always felt like a pace killer.

Yeah, that's fair. There were quite a few moments where I felt like a bad son of a gun mowing down the zombies, which never happened during the second game. It'll be an easy game to come back to whenever I want some light scares with my third-person shooting.
