A direct prequel to Tales of Zestiria but you don't need to play that game to enjoy this one (tbh you're lucky if you didn't play Zestiria). Kind of a twist on the Tales of story formula where you're playing as the "bad guys," and as such goes on a more darker route than the usual Tales of game. I really enjoyed the story and getting to know the cast and various characters. Combat is fun and there are a lot of different moves and combos you can work with, but it still does suffer from the occasional damage sponge enemy.
