I won't talk about the shitty monetization more than this sentence because there is nothing to say more than what's been said and Blizzard will get away with it anyways like Riot Games did with Valorant. It also doesn't affect my rating for this game.

As much as I was skeptical with 5v5 when it was first announced, playing the game during the OW2 beta and after the official "release" made me remember the Overwatch I fell in love with during the very first open beta. Game is back to being more fast paced with the shields and CC being reduced and the tanks being able to be played more offensively by giving them a juggernaut feel. Overwatch needed a gamemode that made both teams be on the offensive all the time like 5CP that Team Fortress 2 had and Push is an amazing answer for this. Changes to heroes are spot-on with none of them feeling awful to use albeit some characters might be weaker than others which will always happen in a game like this. Removal of some maps, leveling and some post-game stuff are questionable decisions but I believe devs can fix these kind of stuff in some way with feedback and time.

This game/update is definitely a huge improvement over the post-Brigitte era of OW1 and it's a shame that it gets overshadowed by the actions of shitty Blizzard higher-ups. I'm hoping to see a more polished version of the game with similar style of gameplay from now on with future content.
