Assassins creed games ranked

I am currently playing through the Assassins Creed franchise in full for the first time. Here I will place each game as I complete it in my personal order. I will be playing these games on PS5 and will use the easiest accessible version. This will include the Ezio collection and the remaster of Assassins Creed 3.

Assassin's Creed Revelations
Assassin's Creed Revelations
My personal favorite. Perfectly ends Ezio's story, Advances on the gameplay from brotherhood and puts you in a brand new setting. Freerunning feels smoother than previous entries and the combat as fluent and ever. Very underrated in my opinion
Assassin's Creed II
Assassin's Creed II
A true classic. Probably the best story of the franchise with some fantastic characters. Not to mention the amazing music as well. the combat and movement haven't aged spectacularly but still holds up for its time.
Assassin's Creed III Remastered
Assassin's Creed III Remastered
Quite underrated. Connor isnt the most interesting protagonist and the gameplay doesn't make any major adjustments but you can see how this game paved the way for black flag. Ship combat is fun and the combat is fluid. Haytham is a stand-out character and this game has one of the better antagonists. Stuck in the middle ground but should be better appreciated.
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
Very controversial but I do not care for brotherhood. Perhaps because I played it in to close proximity to 2 and it felt to similar but it took me months to complete as it felt like a complete drag. Exact same combat, location and characters from the 2nd game it just felt like more of the same. I understand that this is a fan favorite and by no means is it a bad game but to me it just feels to repetitive.
Assassin's Creed Mirage
Assassin's Creed Mirage
Despite me having a better time with this and rating it higher than brotherhood I will still rank it lower due to the fact that Brotherhood has almost everything over this. Better protagonist, better location and mainly a better story.
