Playing this for the first time was whiplash. I was used to the style of MGS1 and was completely caught off guard with the numerus gameplay changes.
These changes completely changes the flow and approach to combat making a very clear distinction between MGS2 and all other MGS titles.
I love the story with all it's twists and turns. The best part of this game is you can tell Kojima was getting much more experimental with what can be told in the gaming medium. I believe this results in the greatest stealth game of all time, MGS3, which comes later I just couldn't resist talking about it.
