Is it sacrilege that I think this is better than the original Silent Hill? I think it's because it recontextualizes the narrative of the first game entirely, and it makes for a more psychological and emotional narrative as a result. It breaks your heart while managing to be terrifying at the same time, especially at the end when it accurately assessed your personality. I should revisit the original to compare them.
