All things considered, Yoshi's Story didn't do anything too groundbreaking as a platformer, especially on a system that had 3D platformers galore. Still, it was a fun, lightweight little game that you could sink a few hours into if you had downtime. It was nothing extraordinary, but it was certainly not bad either.
