As someone who played the first Pikmin game on the Wii and couldn't get accustomed to the Wii controls, you don't know how happy I was to see this get a Switch re-release.
Using a modern control scheme is a world better for this game, and it actually helped me appreciate it more and see just how great of a game it is. Because this is a pretty damn special game, for sure (even though the Pikmin AI can be kinda dumb at points).

@rat I realize I might've worded it wrong, but I meant "the original Pikmin in it's Wii re-release." Obviously, I know it was a GameCube game first and foremost, but my first (and previously only) experience with the game came with the Wii version.
