The filthy, disgusting things I did in front of the Lord and the baby Jesus just to get to a screen with a pixelated medieval family waving at me in front of a log cabin.

I would have loved a sprawling labyrinthine maze the likes of which I haven't seen since the first Zelda, with a likable family each with different strengths and weaknesses who have to pool their talents together and can access places the others can't to get important items some of them can use and some of them can't, that controls well. Bet you'll never guess which one of those things I didn't get.

I'll just leave this to a random YouTube comment that said it better than me:

"’The hardest part of the game is the area you have to move blocks to solve puzzles.’ Even the manual writer realized the control design for block moving was atrocious."
