I have never been more polarized from a game I definitely enjoyed. This game is niche and niche for a reason. It's very obvious. It's grindy, absurdly complicated to the point of me learning new mechanics in the final fucking boss, and it has some stupid difficulty spikes. At the same time, however, there's so much customizability that no two players will beat the game with the same team, the mechanics makes the gameplay much richer, it's extremely satisfying to finish a tough stage, and while they are quite over-the-top, the characters do actually get some good development.
I overall definitely enjoyed my time with this one.
