My personal favorite multiplayer COD. I really liked the variety of multiplayer maps as well as a lot of the wacky ideas the DLC packs brought. Besides maps, I loved the perk system and the use of MW3's killstreak system. I think the special orders in each game was a cool addition as well. Additionally, I also think the "squads" and soldier designs in this game were neat additions and unlocks. I think the squads mode was underutilized and was a lot of fun designing your team.
The aliens and campaign weren't bad to me, just okay but enjoyable experiences worth completing once.

To me, the best additions that were added to the MW2 formula were some of the extra weapons, the killstreak additions, and infected gamemode. The campaign nicely wrapped up the modern warfare trilogy. The horde mode in this game was fun for a few games.
To me, this is the least memorable COD campaign. That being said, this game probably has my favorite zombie map set. Shangri La, Moon, and Call of the Dead are my favorites. Also another solid multiplayer, not my favorite but good.
