I always felt like 64 had the most lenient platforming to compensate. Where did the slippery controls annoy you most?

@Snoof3 It depends on the level. I think the open ones (Bob-omb Battlefield, Shifty Sand Lands, etc.) work really well, but as soon as the challenges require precise spacing (LLL, Tick Tock Clock, etc.) it starts to show its age. Obviously this is part of what makes those later levels more challenging, but I would rather the design introduce new elements rather than it feeling like I'm fighting the controls.
