Un spin-off excelente que, aunque tiene sus cosillas, conserva a la perfección toda la esencia, el carisma y el encanto del Persona 5 original, esta vez envuelto en una suerte de musou/ARPG que funciona como un tiro.
La historia no es tan memorable como la del original, en parte porque se dedica mucho a repetir patrones, ideas y conceptos de la misma, pero volver a pasar tiempo con estos personajes es una bendición y los nuevos añadidos son tan buenos que casi parece que lleven ahí desde el principio.
Jugablemente es una gozada, aunque al principio puede resultar muy caótico por la cantidad de cosas que hay en pantalla a la vez. Una vez le coges el punto y consigues un buen puñado de habilidades, es tan agradable y traslada tan bien la jugabilidad del original que casi no parece que sea un género distinto.
Hay algunos aspectos que, comprensiblemente, están mucho más simplificados, como las relaciones entre personajes y todo el aspecto más RPG, que es mucho más escueto, pero... es un musou. Y, para ser un musou, tiene una profundidad que ya quisieran muchos.
Y encima la banda sonora es tan gloriosa como la del original. Tan importante para el conjunto como cualquiera de los otros aspectos.
Me ha encantado y además deja la puerta abierta a que sigan contando historias en este mundo y con estos personajes, así que todo bien. Que hagan más, que yo estaré allí.

An excellent spin-off that, despite its flaws, perfectly preserves the essence, charisma and charm of the original Persona 5, this time wrapped in a wonderful musou/ARPG that works like a charm.
The story isn't as memorable as the original, partly because it does a lot of repeating patterns, ideas and concepts from the old one, but spending time with these characters is a blessing and the new additions are so good it almost seems like they've always been there.
Gameplay-wise, it's fantastic, although it can be a bit overwhelming at first because of the amount of stuff on screen. Once you get the hang of it and unlock a good bunch of abilities, it's so nice and it translates the original gameplay so well that it sometimes doesn't feel like a different genre.
Some aspects are, understandably, more simplified, like relationships and the whole RPG aspect of it, that is a lot more sparse, but... it's a musou. And, for a musou, it has a depth most wish they had.
And on top of that the soundtrack is as glorious as the original. As important to the whole as any other aspect of it.
I loved it and it leaves the door open to keep telling stories in this world and with these characters, so everything's great. Let them do more, I'll be there.
