dont get why in games like this where users could make levels for theoretically any song possible and they only choose bad edm songs. if im gonna be doing the video game equivalent of slamming my head into a wall until it breaks for an hour i'd rather do it to the tune of something id ever listen to outside of that context than Monstercat Selects #372 or whatever.

@GutterTrash bruh TECHNICALLY you can use every single song ever, but that is not official. you literally have to alter the files to change it to something that isnt on newgrounds

@GutterTrash because only the person who changed the file can hear the real audio then and most people dont want to bother to CHANGE THEIR FILES just to play a SINGLE level. there is also a lot of people who do it just to upload it to youtube, you can try to search up one of your favourte artist and then geometry dash, there will probably be somebody who made a level with their music
