This game isn't bad, but it's not great either, regardless of the controversy. Lemme explain.

The punches can feel very satisfying, sometimes making me think of Saitama when a solid punch can straight up one shot some enemies. Plus the writing feels solid, the characters reacting to this silent assailiant was very funny. But there are some negatives. Big ones.

If you don't have the right items, you usually have to pull out of your exploration, lest you're killed. And sometimes an enemy encounter at the wrong time can destroy a lot of your progress, since you have to return home every time to save. An easy solution could have been to risk running, which isn't even an option.

The other big gripe I have is that while the visual design is unique and striking, it can lend to parts of the dungeon looking the same, leading to you getting lost, completely unsure of where the next puzzle is.

This game has a lot of promise. I like the concept and part of the execution. I'd say that the next game could refine upon the ideas introducted Fight Knight, but based on the controversy leading to launch, I have a strong feeling that this may be the last game we see from Team Sorcerobe.
