One Piece Odyssey reminds me a lot of Sonic Frontiers. There's a great game here, some solid framework. But you can see where the corners were cut, and the fact that the game implements a ton of backtracking, and kneecaps Franky for half the game, and Brook for three quarters of the game; it makes you feel like this game could be a whole lot better.

A sequel to this game would be fantastic. More arcs, add in some more allies, Gear 5 Luffy, even keep Jinbei as a permanent party member of the team! I get why they're not there, but thinking about the road not taken just makes me want to see this framework fully realized. But as it stands, it's just pretty good.
