The game has such an energy to it. It may seem like a mascot platformer at first glance, but it's really more of an action game. The boss fights are awesome. They really have that "Treasure" spectactle arcadey feeling to them even if this game came out a month before Gunstar. The soundtrack is pretty great. Not Sonic or Streets of Rage tier but still pretty good. My only real complaint is that the game can feel a little cheap with the patterns at times, but I suppose that just adds to the arcadey feel. If you're a Genesis fan, you should try this game.
