Cocoon is a puzzle adventure game where you are a bug man stuck in a weird alien world and the only way to progress is by using orbs you find to jump to different worlds. The transition between dimensions is so fast without stuttering. Each orb has their own world in them with their own puzzles that have mechanics special to them. As you find more orbs you have to use the past ones to progress in the current one. Inside each orb there is a boss fight which I felt was the one thing I did not like about it. They were not hard but felt like a distraction from the puzzles. With nothing else on screen other than you it makes for a very beautiful game with clear answers to the puzzles you face. It’s a little on the short side and I finished it around 6 hours after trying to find most of the optional stuff.
