The combat and movement are such a strong foundation for Hades, but the narrative and the way it plays with the genre is what really separates it from its peers. I don't often want to pursue a game's true ending, but Hades had me wanting to replay as soon as I successfully completed my first run. A mixture of wanting to make it out with each weapon and seeing how the relationships further develop had me locked in so why not add a few more victories to truly see it all.

Unfortunately, playing on the Switch is a bit of a bummer because you'll get some pretty significant fps drops during bigger fights in the later parts of the run. They're never run ending, but it would me out of the fun of the moment to moment just enough to sap my energy and keep me from wanting to do another attempt. I will, at some point, pick it up on PC and see it all then!
