While it was ahead of it's time, it still holds up as an enjoyable epic timeless adventure into one of the best Rabbit Hole lores in entertainment history.
All my life I've been a Spider-Man fan, but here's how this is kinda special:
Back when I was a child, I used to play Spider-Man (2000) on Playstation 1, and then i saw Spider-Man 2 for Playstation 2. When I first played that game, I was overwhelmed by it's beauty and mechanics at the time, the evolution was insane between a game and another, so i remember that I used to daydream A LOT about how Spidey's games were going to look like in the future with all the technology and all. And then, I finally played Marvel's Spider-Man at 23 years old (at the exact same age as Peter in game) to realize that the fictional game I always dreamed about as a kid, was finally here, it is real. Insomniac's Spider-Man games are nothing more than dreams coming true to me.
