I have not played the original RE3. I don't really think that matters.
RE3 Remake is a short, sweet, tense ride that pulls off everything it wants to in its 5-6 hour playtime, with nothing but solid sequences. Is it as impressive as RE2 Remake? No. Is it more fun? Maybe.
