I think the problem is not the combat, but the problem rather is with the enemy AI and the little dmg your attacks sometimes do. It makes normal difficulty feel like hard difficulty and surely prolonged the boss battles somewhat.

The blocking wasn't really my biggest problem. At some points, like vs. Richardson 2, those were some of the fastest boss fights ever lmao
The other problem I kinda had with the AI was that some of them wouldn't even come for you when they were in masses in the last two chapters. Good thing you could just run past most of them in the hospital lol

If you mod it, you're a bitch tho. I don't make the rules.

Anyway, speaking of Richardson I thought shit couldn't be more obvious than some Ace Attorney cases. Some of the mysteries definitely didn't get really satisfying answers or rather most of them just weren't good mysteries to begin with.

The story as a whole definitely got me emotional, though. The beginning was boring as fuck, but if I was alone I'd have actually broken out in tears at Rikiya's death. And everyone giving the coupons to Ayako also got me tearing up. On that principle alone I would give it 5 stars, but I'll keep it at 4

AND YOU'RE NOT SLICK BY MAKING KIRYU FAKE DIE TWICE IN A ROW AND THEN LET THE CREDITS ROLL RGG STUDIO. I EXPECT IT TO BECOME A TROPE WHICH IS GONNA SUCK
