I think some of the character interactions were annoying, the trials were a bit more obnoxious(looking at you Hangman's Gambit), and I think a lot of the middle of the game was boring. There was a lot of breadcrumbs and questions from the first game that didn't get answered until basically the end of the game.
BUT if you can stick through until the end, the payoff is worth it. The ending is MUCH better than 1 and a lot of my questions were answered. Overall, it was alright.

2's ending is so astoundingly insane and goofy that it loops back into being kinda peak. That being said I prefer V3's ending by a country mile mainly for thematic reasons
I don’t know how to reply to comments on this properly lol @LordDarias I didn’t like how much of a cliffhanger 1 left me on. I had SO many questions about what would happen to them after they opened the door.
Other people mentioned how silly it was, but 2’s ending still felt more complete and it had me way more hyped than 1. It reminded me a lot of Evangelion, especially the weird fake-out with the last few truth bullets.
