Pokemon Yellow has its problems with type balancing, what effects moves have, and a messed up difficulty curve, but despite being my least favorite Pokemon game, I still enjoyed my time with it. If anything, the first generation Pokemon games served as a decent foundation for one of my favorite video game franchises.
