It is easy to criticize Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin. The level design can be frustrating, the bosses can be underwhelming, and many of its design choices are contentious. However, while there is a lot about this game that annoys me, I like it overall and would say it occasionally reaches the highs found in the other Souls games.
