I unironically adore the Animal Crossing series. The AC franchise has built gold on just living a daily life in a game, that's insane when you truly think about it. When New Horizons was released I fully got child-level of excited and unashamedly so. I love how much you can do in such a simple game, it has zero stakes and it doesn't need them because the pure untampered pleasure of living peacefully is more than enough. I only wish it didn't stagnate every so often, but god knows I will always come back to it.
