Ive never totally understood the massive appeal of this series and always regarded it as a pretty B-tier game back on the Playstation 2. The remake does little to dissuade me from this opinion overall.

Sure it does have its moments, when the action really kicks in and things go flying it can be an absolute blast but honestly thats incredibly limited at most. The rest isnt as good and is just a load of rather frustrating stealth based missions, finicky side objectives and collectables that are just flat out not fun to find in any way shape or form.

So yeah. Theres still some fun action here but its just oh so limited in scope and nature.
