ElecHead is great. It's a faux-8-bit puzzle platfomer with an earwormy soundtrack and a minimal but clean aesthetic that put me in mind of Downwell, another banger. The central mechanic involves using electricity to get from room to room, typically by flinging your electricity-conducting head ('ElecHead', geddit?) from place to place while you manouever your body independently, jumping over obstacles, grabbing keys and timing jumps. The puzzles build on each other successfully, and barring a particularly obscure one towards the end, I was able to complete the entirey game without using a guide. Some rooms had me proper stumped for a while, but that made (eventually) finding the solutions all the more rewarding.

I got all of the achievements and found all of the optional collectibles in about 4 hours. There are instant restarts and lots of checkpoints to stop things from becoming frustrating, even if (according to the end-game screen) I died over 300 times. ElecHead cost me £6.40 in a recent sale and I had a lovely time with it all round. It's out on Steam and Switch and if you like games like Baba Is You or Braid then you'll probably like this, too.
